How many professional development hours does a NASET certification count for?+
NASET certifications range from approximately 45 to 86+ study hour credits depending on the program. The Board Certification in IEP Development (BCIEP) is 86 study hour credits. Each certification page on learn.naset.com lists the specific credit hours for the program.
What if my state requires university credit, not PD hours?+
North Dakota is the only state that mandates university coursework for all license renewal. For other states where university credit is preferred, NASET has university partnerships that allow you to convert NASET professional development hours into official university semester credit.
