Meet Dr. Beth L. Raiola:
Dr. Beth L. Raiola, EdD, BCBA, LBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst who has spent her career at the intersection of applied behavior analysis and the classroom. She is the author of Jewish American Parents Navigating Autism Supports (Palgrave Macmillan) and develops university-level coursework in applied behavior analysis at both the bachelor's and master's levels. Her work centers on teacher coaching, parent partnership, and moving the field of ABA forward through better education for everyone who supports students with autism.
Dr. Raiola has held her BACB Authorized Continuing Education Provider status since 2019, and every session in this series carries continuing education credit under her provider number.
Why Attend?
Behavior support in schools falls on more shoulders than ever. BCBAs are asked to build programs that work inside real classrooms. RBTs and paraprofessionals carry out interventions all day with little dedicated training. And teachers, especially in K-5, are handed students with autism and told to figure it out.
This series was designed for all three. Each month, Dr. Raiola takes one core challenge and works through what the research says, what actually works in a classroom, and how the adults around a student can pull in the same direction.
The Series
- Session 1 (October 28): Understanding Autism and Managing Students in the Classroom. What is driving the behavior you see, why you cannot manage a classroom without knowing the roots, and practical strategies built on that foundation.
- Session 2 (November): Family Dynamics and the Parent Partnership. Bringing parents into the plan, what families should expect from ABA, and how educators and behavior analysts build trust with the people who know the student best.
- Session 3 (December): Coaching Early Career Teachers. For the teacher just placed in a special education classroom, and everyone who supports them: where to begin, what to prioritize, and how BCBAs can coach teachers instead of just handing them a plan.
Who this is for: BCBAs and BCaBAs earning CEUs, RBTs earning the 12 professional development hours now required every 2 years, paraprofessionals working toward or holding the RBT credential, and K-5 special educators who want behavior strategies grounded in evidence.
All registrants will have access to the recordings. CE certificates are issued for each session, with Dr. Raiola's name and ACE Provider number, for BCBA CEUs and RBT PDUs.

Do I get CEUs for attending? Yes. Each live session includes BCBA CEUs, and RBT professional development hours are documented on the BACB's required form. Certificates are issued after each session.
