Meet Dr. Beth L. Raiola:
Dr. Beth L. Raiola, EdD, BCBA, LBAÂ serves as the Program Chair for Applied Behavior Analysis at Post University. Throughout her career, Dr. Raiola has championed progressive approaches to applied behavior analysis across clinical, community, and educational environments. She holds the International Behavior Analyst credential and is the author of Jewish American Parents Navigating Autism Supports published by Palgrave/Macmillan. Dr. Raiola has published widely and presented internationally on topics including autism, applied behavior analysis, and the interplay of culture and intervention.Â
Dr. Raiola has held her BACB Authorized Continuing Education Provider status since 2019, and every session in this series carries continuing education credit under her provider number.
Why Attend?
Supporting a neurodiverse learner takes a team: the BCBA building the program, the RBT or paraprofessional carrying it out, the teacher leading the classroom, and the parent who knows the child best. Too often, each gets training built for someone else, or none at all.
This series was designed for the whole team. Each month, Dr. Raiola takes one core challenge and works through what the research says, what works in real classrooms and homes, and how the adults around a learner can pull in the same direction.
The Series (5 Sessions - subject and date subject to change)
- Session 1 (October 28): Understanding Autism and Managing Students in the Classroom. What is driving the behavior you see, why you cannot support a student without knowing the roots, and practical strategies built on that foundation.

Session 2 (November): Behavioral Interventions (with Assent)
An introduction to behavioral interventions built for those just starting out and those who want a stronger foundation. Dr. Raiola walks through what quality intervention looks like, how assent fits into everyday practice, and what it means for a learner to have a real say in their own support. -
Session 3 (December): Classroom Behavior and Management
Moving from supporting one student to managing a whole classroom. This session covers practical, evidence-based strategies for group and schoolwide settings, with a focus on understanding what drives student behavior before responding to it. -
Session 4 (January): Family and Parent Intervention
The family is the most important team a learner has. This session covers building the parent partnership, what families should expect from behavioral providers, and the growing role of parent-delivered intervention at home. -
Session 5 (February): Global Perspectives
How autism is understood and supported around the world, and what educators and families everywhere can learn from each other. A wider lens on culture, intervention, and inclusion to close out the series.
Who this is for: BCBAs and BCaBAs earning CEUs, RBTs earning the 12 professional development hours now required every 2 years, paraprofessionals working toward or holding the RBT credential, special educators who want behavior strategies grounded in evidence, and parents who want to understand and take part in their child's support.
All registrants will have access to the recordings. CE certificates are issued for each session, with Dr. Raiola's name and ACE Provider number, for BCBA CEUs and RBT PDUs.

How long is each session? 90 minutes, live, with time for questions.
Will sessions be recorded? Yes. All registrants will have access to the replays.
Do I get CEUs for attending? Yes. Each live session includes BCBA CEUs, and RBT professional development hours are documented on the BACB's required form. Certificates are issued after each session. Parents and educators receive a certificate of attendance for professional development.
